Who doesn’t love a big ol’ deli bagel sandwich?! I know I sure do! The only thing I wish I had in my fridge to add to this was a thick juicy tomato, but even without it this sandwich definitely did not disappoint! I bought Against the Grain bagels this week from Whole Foods for the first time. The cinnamon raisin bagels are dairy free (their other products are made with cheese). I was very pleasantly surprised by how good they were. I used them to make this sandwich and although you might think cinnamon raisin wouldn’t be good on a deli sandwich, I couldn’t even taste the flavor of the bagel due to all the flavor from the sandwich and because of the flaky, chewy, deliciousness of the bagel! I stacked it high with a cream cheese spread, greens, smoked provolone, turkey, fresh avocado, micro greens, everything but the bagel seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes! Do yourself a favor and make this!
Ingredients:
- 1 Against The Grain bagel
- 1-2 tablespoons of Kitehill chive cream cheese (it’s vegan- made from almonds)
- Handful of arugula
- 1 slice of Violife smoked provolone cheese (it’s vegan)
- 2 slices of Applegate organic turkey lunch meat
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- Microgreens
- Trader Joe’s Everything but the bagel seasoning
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt
- (Oh and if I had a tomato I would have added it!)
